Summer program
Our 2025 summer program will run Monday, June 9 - Friday, August 15. Hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Please note that the start and end dates may change as the school district addresses snow make-up days.
The summer program features weekly themes, trips to the swimming pool, weekly out of town field trips, plus lots of enrichment activities to keep your children engaged this summer. Check out some of the exciting new offerings below.
LINK SUMMER CAMPS
LINK Summer Camps are a special week that provide a special focus on something extra special that kids are excited about. If your child is only participating in Summer Camps, they will only have to fill out the LINK Camps Registration Application. If they are participating in LINK Afterschool or Summer, they will fill out the LINK 2025-2026 Registration Application.
Sports camp Weeks
June 9-13 (Baseball & Softball)
June 16-20 (Basketball)
LINK is partnering with Grinnell Sports Camps to help bring the joy, recreation, and skill growth to our children and youth ages 6-12. Parents can sign their children up to attend LINK in the morning starting at 7:30am. Transportation will be provided after lunch to Grinnell College for a couple of hours with specialized coaches and mentors for sports camp and water time. Parents can pick up kids at the College pool by 4:15pm each day or kids will be transported back to Davis Elementary school to be picked up at LINK after 4:30pm and by 5:30pm. The cost per week is $175 regardless of attendance.

Cooking 1 Week
June 23-27
LINK is offering a special week of cooking for youth ages 6-9. One of our favorite things to do at LINK has been to learn to cook! Cooking 1 will teach kids the basics of cooking: knife skills, measuring, safety, basic tools, a few basic recipes. Plus, the kids will still get to enjoy the extra fun activities of the traditional week of LINK-going to the pool and the Friday field trip! Space is limited, and sign-up is a first come, first serve. The cost per week is $155 regardless of attendance.
STEAM week
July 21-25
Science week at LINK is always one of the best! STEAM week takes it one step further by bringing in bigger experiments, new science kits, and special guests. Plus, you still get to enjoy the extra fun activities of the traditional week of LINK-going to the pool, the Friday field trip, and a special community rotation. Space is limited, and sign-up is a first come, first serve. The cost per week is $145 regardless of attendance.
