Our Partners

LINK is grateful for the help of our various community partners:

LINK partners with the Drake Community Library to provide children with opportunities to be engaged in their community and cultivate a love of reading. Drake librarians select engaging books for each of the age groups LINK. We coordinate with the Library to regularly change the selection and cater the topics to the interests of our kids. Library volunteers also host reading time activities, which are especially beneficial for the younger age groups.

The LINK program has a necessary and collaborative relationship with the school district. LINK coordinates with the district to help support students’ academic achievement by providing homework assistance and educational activities. The LINK schedule corresponds to the needs of the district’s academic calendar in order to best serve the needs of the community. LINK is also housed in the physical space of Davis elementary school, thanks to the generous cooperation of the district.

GCMoA designs activities and provides supplies for children in the LINK program to create art using various mediums.
